I had septoplasy surgery done at this facility. The facility was clean. The nurses were so sweet. My nurse was Kristine. She told me how it was really going to be when I woke up and I appreciated that. Facial nose surgery is hard. There are a lot of bad reviews about this hospital. With that being said I would never come here to give birth to octuplets or if I was impaled by a metal rod on final destination vibes. But my surgery was planned months in advance. There is a diff vibe when your surgery time is set and you're not waiting to be seen. I received an amazing amount of care from start to finish. The anesthesia team was great and the guy in the recovery room was awesome! The nurse called me back the next day to find out how I was doing. My doctor was Joshua Downie ENT
This hospital is the worse place ever. My father was there a week without any plan or relief of pain. The only reason anything was done is because on Dr.Armstrong. However he was only there one day and after that nothing got done. Then after me questioning what the plan was with the new doctor, forgot her name, she got defensive and belittling. Me and my mother had to get patient advocate involved as well floor manager to get anything done and to get a plan. There was no communication between the staff and doctors and no communication between staff and patients. I fact I had to inform the nurse to read the doctors progress note to get the order for a new medication that was ordered. Also the staff didn’t know what they giving the patients, scary, when question about a med that they were giving to my father the said for something but it was fact not for that. Then when we got his medication list I noticed that they were giving him a Prenatal!!!!! Again this my father!!!!!! If you want to have the worst vacation away from family or looking to die this hospital for you. I personally would go to road side chop shop and have my organs sold on black market before going to the hospital, but everyone has their own opinions 🤷♀️
If you have an elderly patient who has had a fall or not able to feed themselves, I would highly advise you to have a full-time caregiver with them. They kept my loved one doped up 24 hours and then said that they did not want to do physical therapy. Well I guess I wouldn't either if my legs felt like rubber and I was half asleep from dope. My loved one would have also starved to death if it hadn't have been for me hand feeding them. Half the time they didn't bring the meals. On a good note, my loved one is alive ❤️

Know before you go
- If possible, have a caregiver present for elderly or vulnerable patients to ensure personalized attention
- For planned surgeries or procedures that require extended stays, request specific nursing staff if mentioned positively in reviews for a better experience
- Consider visiting during less busy times to potentially receive more individualized care
- Double-check medication lists provided by the hospital to avoid any errors or omissions

This hospital was amazing. My daughter had a very complicated surgery there, she was given a private room, nurses were kind, caring and super knowledgeable. The hospital was immaculate, her surgeon was tops and what could have been a lengthy stay turned into a quick in and out in just a few days. My thanks to the staff and Dr Jay Singh, who in our eyes is a miracle worker. Also, the cafeteria was delicious!!!
I had my gallbladder surgery in Wellstar, and it was good experience.Doctors and Nurses are great!Want to mention few names of staff which made my experience very special in this hospital stay:Nurse Jaya - She was so caring, kind and patient , she made sure I am comfortable and all my needs are being addressed.Nurse Yuri- She was nice and gentle. And helped me to get through this difficult time.Discharge Nurse Kathryn- She made sure we have proper documentation and all the information before we step out of the hospital, she provided all the information and repeated it couple of times to me and my husband making sure we don’t miss anything.I don’t remember the name of the nurse who helped me in the room before surgery , she gave me all the related information and made sure I understand what they are going to do.
