IAA provides international buyers with the flexibility of buying online either with a registered buyer account or through a broker. Our Market Alliance members can provide local support to buyers in over 170 countries with bidding, buying and shipping in select regions.

Creating a Public Buyer account gives you access only to inventory available to the public. Remember that even if a facility is open to the public, it does not mean all inventory is available for the public.

IAA offers convenient Payment Methods including: Cash (up to $500 per day) Cash Equivalent: Money Orders, Cashier's Checks, Certified Checks, Traveler's Checks.

The yearly membership fee for Public and Licensed Business buyer accounts is $200. Additional bidders can be added to a Licensed Business buyer account for an annual cost of $100 per additional bidder.

Payment. A registration fee of $200 is required at sign-up. You can pay for your registration with a credit card or debit card.

On-Site Vehicle Inspections

If an IAA buyer needs more than the digital experience prior to bidding, IAA offers a detailed vehicle inspection exclusively through our nationwide inspection partner CarInspector.us.

You can register as a Guest, free of charge (with no bidding privileges), or register for a bidding account as a Public (Individual) or Licensed Business buyer. Public Buyer: Public buyers do not need a business license. As a Public buyer you will be able to bid on inventory that is available to the public.

You cannot cancel a bid placed for an auction, but you can lower your maximum bid if the pre-bidding period has not closed and your maximum bid exceeds the current high bid. You cannot cancel a bid or lower your maximum bid at any time during the auction.

Individual (Public) Buyers

Individual Buyers can bid at auctions that are open to the public (varies by state) and on vehicles that can be sold to the public.

Buy Now vehicles were previously in at least one auction but did not meet the seller's reserve price. These vehicles are listed as a “Buy Now” vehicle at the seller's reserve price. If you agree to the price, you can accept that price and the Buy Now vehicle will be immediately invoiced to your account.
